CA, USA — More than 100 firefighters are battling a small blaze threatening homes in a Southern California canyon.
Forest Service spokeswoman Dee Dechert says the blaze near Santa Clarita has consumed 10 acres. It is being pushed by wind gusts. Dechert could not give more details on the threat.
Also on Wednesday in central Florida, authorities have told residents of about 140 homes to evacuate ahead of a fast-moving brush fire.
Officials say the fire near Orlando could cut off a main road and leave residents trapped.
