Norway — Early Monday morning firefighters and voluteers resumed their attempt at putting out a forest fire which has been raging in Nissedal Telemark since Saturday afternoon.
Both private homes and a number of weekend cottages have been threatened by the fire, but so far only several square miles of forest and heather have been destroyed.
The rugged terrain makes it difficult for the firefighting crews to get around, and they had to stop for several hours during the night.
