Australia — A new bushfire safety publication written by respected safety author Joan Webster will be published in the hope that people will be well prepared and risks to lives and properties are minimised.
The book, released by the CSIRO and titled Essential Bushfire Safety Tips, is a condensation of her acclaimed The Complete Bushfire Safety Book.
It contains easy to understand information on every known aspect of bushfire safety on more than 2000 approved and authoritative tips.
“I devised this book to make the task of preparing a personalised bushfire safety plan easy,” Ms Webster said.
“Many people are very confused about how to best make a safe decision on whether to stay with their home or evacuate.”
