Australia — Nine firefighters have been injured and at least one homedestroyed in bushfires raging out of control in South Australia, as the statesuffers through a record heatwave.
All national parks are closed in the Mount Lofty Ranges with hot conditions forecast until Tuesday.
Kate Husband from the Country Fire Service says 200 firefighters have worked through the night to protect the historic town of Willunga.
The good news is that it is still classified as contained however this fire is still posing a significant risk to that local community in terms of the unpredictability of weather today.
