Australia — A TRAIN derailment in Western Australia sparked a 2km fire alongthe rail line, fire and rescue services say.

Fire and Rescue spokesman Allan Gale said the freight train derailed thisafternoon near Hines Hill, 250km east of Perth.

“The freight train has come unstuck and caused about two kilometres offire along the line but that is now under control,” Mr Gale said.

No one appeared to be hurt in the derailment but it could cause disruptionsto the line, Mr Gale said.
