USA — Smoke rose from hot spots still smolderingin the aftermath of a 25-acre brush fire.
Crews spent hours battling fire in the area of Baum Road on Wednesday andthey expect to fight hot spots for days, even weeks ahead.
Investigators say the fire started when flames from burning pallets hit grassand moved across the street and into Jason Baker’s farmland. He said most of theland had been cleared and was being turned over for planting.
One resident told 13News her neighbors are always burning pallets and shecouldnt believe theyd do it on such a windy day.
