Fire occurred in 49th quarter of Goytapa forest of Jalilabad Forest Protection and Restoration enterprise at 01.35 on August 26, Ecology and Natural Resources Ministrys press service told the APA. Firefighting group could extinguish the fire. The fire covered 2 hectares area. Dry grass cover, shrubberies burned during fire. The commissioned has been established in the enterprise for investigating causes of the fire, specifying losses and taking proper measures. The primary investigations show that the incident occurred because of citizens carelessness.
