Russia — The fire season starts one month earlier this year; over 2.5 thousand bushfire outbreaks with the total area of 180 hectares were registered in the Moscow Region last month.
The headquarter of fighting dead-wood and peat burning resumed functioning yesterday, April 10.
Same centres and headquarters have been organized in 22 more regions and cities located in the fire dangerousareas.
Firefight specialists mark this year as “potentially unfavourable” and remind that around 400 populated localities with 200 thousand citizens may happen to be adversely affected by the fire dangerous zone.
At the moment 200 bushfire cases are registered in the Moscow Region daily.
