Australia — The Country Fire Service (CFS) in South Australia is warningmotorists near the Mt Bold bushfire in the Adelaide Hills to take care as localroads are reopened today.
The fire has been contained but is still burning, withsmoke causing visibility problems in the area.
Backburning operations are continuing, and residents arebeing told to be ready for any change in the situation.
Sightseers are also being urged to stay away, with theCFS fearing that traffic congestion could pose a threat to public safety.
Around 2,000 hectares of farming and scrub land has beenburnt between Kangarilla and Echunga.
More than 100 CFS volunteers spent the night patrollingthe fire zone and mopping up.
