Georgia — The Georgian Foreign Ministry reported on August 21 that a forest fire raging since late August 14 in Adigeni district of southern Georgia has been extinguished.
Tbilisi has thanked Turkey and Ukraine for sending fire-fighting planes and helicopters, as well as BP for providing expertise. The Georgian Foreign Ministry also expressed gratitude towards Austria, Germany and Russia for their readiness to provide help, reports Trend.
