Firefighters and coastguards had to evacuate Crammond Island on the Firth of Forth after a peat fire broke out.
Crews are still at the scene monitoring the situation but the fire is now under control. The blaze was discovered when a coastguard team was called to the island yesterday afternoon to rescue nine people cut off by the tide.
