Bulgaria Gas Cistern Fire Tamed

The forest fire that loomed in Bulgaria after a severe car crash has been tamed.

The fire broke out after a cistern with gas overturned and burst into flames near the northern town. The cistern fell into a 60-meter precipice in the river of Belitsa near the town of Kilifarevo and exploded.

The local authorities explained that the fire is under control and will soon be extinguished.

The driver of the cistern is believed to have died in the explosion.

The traffic has been blocked because of the accident.
