Forest Fire Rages In Tanjong Maya

Tutong – A forest fire is still raging in Kg Mandian Puteri, Tanjong Maya after burning 30 acres of growth yesterday.
Haze and smoke from the fire affected nearby areas. Fire services from Branch E of the Tutong and Lamunin
Fire Stations used two pumps to draw water due to low pressure. They had to use 4WD vehicles from the Tutong 4WD Association to transport fire extinguishing equipment to areas fire engines did not have access to.
Present at the fire scene was Pg Hj Mohd Daud, Acting Assistant Director of the Fire Services Department.
