Trat-. Thailand’s eastern province of Trat is being affected by a forest firein Cambodia, but the impact is still controllable, according to localauthorities.
Smoke from the current forest fire in the Bantad Mount of Cambodia wasspreading into the country’s eastern border province, local journalists quotedthe local authorities as saying this morning. “However, the impact is stillcontrollable. It has not yet affected the province’s communication and localresidents’ way of life”, said the local authorities.
Meanwhile, local forest officials are attempting to prevent the Cambodianforest fire from spreading into Thai forests. Barriers have been erected toblock the fire, according to the local journalists.
