USA:  Federal Forest Fire Plan Achieved

24 May 2002 — 
Western states and the Bush administration have created a plan to prevent wildland fires and promote overall forest health. The 10-year program, which will take effect in January, aims to improve firefighter training, restore ecosystems and support community involvement.
