PRE-DIGITAL BIBLIOGRAPHIES
Selected GFMC Landscape Fire Bibliographies
In addition to the established commercial and non-commercial bibliographies the GFMC provides several lists of literature on fire and related disciplines and studies. These lists are taken from monographs and other publications prepared by the Fire Ecology Research Group over the last years.
Fire Ecology of the Tropics and Subtropics
A major fire literature source is found in the bibliography annex of the monograph cited below. The book volume is an in-depth analysis of fire in the prehistory, history and modern cultural and natural environment in the tropics and subtropics. It includes an analysis of the global atmospheric and climatic role of fire.

Fire Ecology of Boreal Eurasia
One of the results of the first international fire science conference in the Russian Federation was the publication of a monograph on fire in boreal Eurasia, including some selected contributions on boreal North America. The literature cited in the monograph contains numerous publications which in many cases are not easily accessible. To facilitate literature search the bibliographical sources are provided by topic (chapter).
