1. The Second Eastern European Prescribed Fire Demonstration and Long-term Observation Experiment: The second in a series of experimental scientific and demonstration experiments on the use of prescribed fire for wildfire hazard reduction and inducing natural regeneration in pine (Pinus sylvestris) stands in Boyarka Forest Research Station, Ukraine.

The photographic documentation of the Sixth Ukraine Fire Management Week in 2015 reveal the facet-rich training of students of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences, representatives of the State Forest Administration, the State Emergency Service, staff of Boyarka Forest Research Station. Prescribed burning under canopy of pine stands and exercising the application of backfire for controlling a wildfire allowed the participants to study fire behaviour in dependence of diverse fuels and weather conditions. During the Seminar “Fire Management and Research in Forests, Protected Areas and Natural Heritage Sites” the experiences of the two field days were discussed and finally presented to the leadership of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
