This GOES-11 satellite image taken at 0030 UTC on 25 August 2008 shows the South Barker fire located five miles northwest of Rocky Bar, Idaho, producing a moderately dense plume of smoke which extends to the northeast in east-central Idaho. The East Slide Rock Ridge fire located 15 miles southeast of Jarbidge, Nevada, shows moderately dense smoke moving to the northeast into southern Idaho.
