Fires in Southwestern Australia

10 May 2006

Several large fires were burning in the forests of the Darling Range in southwestern Australia on 10 May 2006. The fires may be controlled burns, set to manage forest land in an effort to prevent large, uncontrolled forest fires, or they may have natural causes.
