Bush Fires in South Australia

WEST COAST FIRE UPDATEWEST COAST FIRE UPDATE 12:09 PM 13 January 2005

CFS crews have contained the fire on the West Coast.

Crews are now concentrating on several hot spots well within the perimeter ofthe fire and are supported by water bombing aircraft.

Fresh crews have been brought in from other regions of the State tosupplement the crews on site and provide rest for firefighters who have beenworking in difficult conditions since Tuesday. Approximately 400 firefightersand 55 appliances are involved.

The Bratton Way will remain closed until further notice as firefighters workin the vicinity.
