  • Number of forest fires from the beginning of the year: 1186

  • Total area burned in 2004:  55749 ha

  • Including covered with a wood: 43536 ha

Most affected regions by forest fires: 

Kustanay:

  • Number of Forest Fires: 135

  • Area burned: 7818 ha

  • Including covered with a wood: 7662 ha

Dgambyl:

  • Number of Forest Fires: 17

  • Area burned: 37741 ha

  • Including covered with a wood: 28359 ha
