CURRENT SITUATION:
Minimal fire activity occurred nationally. A type I helicopter was mobilized to Southern
California last weekend.
OUTLOOK:
Southern California will have gusty 25 mph (40km/h) winds in the passes and canyons today,
otherwise it will be fair through Sunday. There is a chance of showers Monday through
Wednesday. Clear skies will return Thursday with possible gusty winds in the passes and
canyons. High temperatures will range from the 60's (15°C) to low 70's (21°C) through
Monday, dropping to the 50's (10°C) and 60's (15°C) the remainder of the week.
Florida will have scattered showers and thunderstorms today. Saturday through Thursday will be mostly sunny. High temperatures will be in the 70's (21°C).
The Southwest will be fair with 15-25 mph (24-40km/h) winds in the northern portion of the area through the weekend. Showers are possible Wednesday and Thursday. High temperatures will range from the 50's (10°C) in the mountains to the 70's (21°C) in the deserts.
