Forest Fire in La Palma/Spain

A big forest fire has been burning out of control on the Canary Islands – which belong to Spain. It broke out on Saturday in hilly terrain on the island of La Palma, and was driven by high temperatures and strong winds. Firefighters using helicopters struggled against the fire which has destroyed an estimated four thousand hectares There are no reports of injuries.
