The 6thAnnual Conference of the Global Disaster Information Network (GDIN) will behosted by the United States Department of State, the Global Disaster InformationNetwork (GDIN) and Natural Resources, Canada. A special session “The Threat of Wildfires“will examine the latest thinking on the threatto both urban and indigenous populations, its causes and how information andtelecommunications technology can make a difference.
