Aerial Firefighting 2014
Aerial Fire Fighting (AFF)
19-20 March 2014, Sacramento, USA
Conference & Exhibition
The latest event in this successful series, AFF 2014 is again set to draw aerial firefighting experts from across the world. Experience live aerial firefighting demonstrations, learn about new techniques & technologies and discover more efficient & cost effective ways to achieve wildfire prevention & suppression at this established international conference.
The conference theme the next generation, has been set in light of the current global economic climate, as agriculture, forestry & firefighting departments come under increasing budgetary pressure for performance and spending, particularly in relation to large wildfire incidents.
As budgets shrink, or are made to go further current aerial firefighting processes & infrastructures are under review in order to discover more efficient & cost effective ways to achieve wildfire prevention and suppression. One of the key efficiency methods is investing in the next generation of pilots, aircraft, delivery technologies and contracts which will allow these goals to be met on a long-term basis ensuring an effective firefighting solution that is fit for purpose in the years ahead.
