The International Association of Wildland Fire is beginning a series of “Fire Behavior and Fuels Conferences”. The first one, to be held in Portland, Oregon March 27-30, 2006, will be Fuels Management How to Measure Success. The U.S. Interagency Fuels Group, as well as several other organizations to be announced later, will be cooperating to help plan, organize and put on this conference. The first announcement is below; further announcements and a call for papers will be forthcoming.
