Wildland Fire 2004will bring together fire service leaders at the local, state and federal levelsto address a critical problem facing fire departments all over the world – thewildland/urban interface. Co-sponsored by the InternationalAssociation of Wildland Fire (IAWF), the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), the USDAForest Service and the U.S. Department of the Interior, theconference will consist of information-packed general sessions, breakoutsessions and more than 40,000 square feet of exhibits. Wildland Fire 2004 alsowill serve as the 2004 National FirePlan Conference. Network with fire service professionals fromacross the globe and gain valuable, first-hand knowledge from the men and womenwho were involved in fighting the world’s most devastating wildland fires, includingthose that recently struck southern California.
