FIREFOR- International Exhibition on Techniques and Machinery for the Prevention and Extinguishing of Forest Fires – Regeneration of Affected Areas – Forest Exploitations – Mechanization and Safety in Forest Work, will be held at the Exhibition Site in Vilagarcia de Arousa (Gallice-Spain) from 15 to 17 November 2002. The event is under the sponsorship of the President of the Spanish Government, five Spanish Ministries, the Government of Gallice and over 100 national and international Organization and Entities.
The exhibition includes themes on forest fire prevention and suppression and innovations related to the regeneration of affected areas, exploitation of forest resources, mechanization, prevention and safety in forest works. FIREFOR/2002 is a commercial, technical and scientific opportunity for all involved in the forest sector in general. National and international exhibitors, visitors and potential buyers are invited to attend. The event also coincides with the debate of the Worldwide Conference on the Prevention and Extinguishing of Forest Fires, Mechanisation and Safety of Forest Workers.
