The 5th International Fire Safety Summit will be held in Missoula, Montana on 6-8 November 2001. The main goal of the conference is to share issues and experiences and to develop action items for wildland fire fighting agencies to enhance firefighting safety. This is a working meeting that uses a combination of plenary sessions and small breakout groups to work through issues to crate action plans. The conference is designed for all wildland fire practicioners fire specialists, leaders, supervisors, managers and directors, rural and volunteer fire fighters, researchers, meteorologists, academics, trainers, contractors, among others.
