Forest Fire Breaks out in SW Tibet

China — A forest fire broke out at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Zayu county of Nyingchi prefecture in southwest Tibet autonomous region.
Firefighters and local volunteers have rushed to the scene. No causalities have been reported, said Ni Yong, a county official.
Currently, the cost of the fire cannot be determined, Ni Yong said.
Located on the southwestern region of Tibet, Zayu county borders India and Burma.
