FEMA opens temporary housing site for wildfire survivors in Lincoln City

USA – LINCOLN CITY, Ore — FEMA says it has begun moving temporary housing units into a new site in Lincoln City, which will provide shelter to qualified wildfire survivors in the county.
According to the agency, this site is similar to others set up for disaster survivors in Jackson, Lane, Linn and Marion counties.
FEMA says currently, more than 100 survivors and their families have been set up to live in the temporary housing units. These units are being places in RV parks and FEMA-constructed sites, they say.
To date, there are more than 260 families approved to receive temporary housing in the five affected Oregon counties.
