Australia Moreton Bay Regional Council wishes to advise of a bushfire burning on Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) land north-west of Woorim, Bribie Island.
QPWS, QFES and QPS crews are currently onsite containing the fire.
Residents and motorists on Bribie Island may notice smoke in the area.
Residents are advised to close windows and doors and keep medication on hand if suffering from a respiratory illness.
Motorists are reminded to drive to conditions and be mindful of emergency services personnel operating in the area.
