Elementos de la zona militar y de la Comisión Nacional Forestal (Conafor), intentan controlar un incendio forestal en la Biósfera de Dzilam de Bravo, ubicada al oriente del estado de Yucatán, en donde de acuerdo al reporte inicial han sido devoradas unas 150 hectáreas de vegetación endémica y manglares.

Las labores para controlar el siniestro se han complicado, debido a que la única manera de ingresar a la zona es a través de la costa, por lo que elementos de la Marina Armada de México intervinieron en estas acciones con embarcaciones y apoyo aéreo.
