Ghana — Bushfire has destroyed over two thousand 500 hectares of forest reserves in Brong-Ahafo in the last two years.
These fires appear to be the most devastating in the Region since the 1982-83 wildfires that plunged Ghana into famine.
The Brong-Ahafo Regional Manager of the Forest Service Division, Thomas Okyere, disclosed this to Radio Ghana in Sunyani.
