India — There was a fire in a forest near the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district of north Kashmir but there were no reports of any casualty, official sources said today.
The fire was noticed in Warsun forest, 135 kms from here, last night and efforts were made to control the blaze spread over one hectare of forest land, the sources said.
A team of forest department officials, who had rushed to the scene, said no damage has been caused to the trees in the forest.
