Nepal — Over six animals at the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve have been killed in a wildfire that started a few days ago. Two python and two deer are among the dead, said Major Purosottam Khadka, reserve security officer. The fire also destroyed a six kilometer stretch of drying hay bundles, which were to be used to thatch locals’ houses. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
