Livermore, USA — A brush fire that burned more thanseven acres at Morgan Territory Road north of Livermore on Monday was started bysparks after a lawnmower struck a rock, firefighters said.

The fire started at 10685 Morgan Territory Road at 4:36 p.m. and wasextinguished 90 minutes later by crews from the San Ramon Valley Fire District,Alameda County and the state.

San Ramon Valley Battalion Chief Mike Brown said one house threatened by theflames was protected by volunteer firefighters.

One firefighter suffered a leg injury during fire.
