Turkey sends plane to put out Libyan forest fire

Turkey / Libya — The Turkish Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs sent a plane to help Libya put out a forest fire.
The Turkish Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs sent an aircraft to help putting out a forest fire in Libya.
“Turkish Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs Veysel Eroglu sent a TC-TKL amphibian aircraft to extinguish the forest fire in Libya on May 29 by the order of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan” said a statement released by the ministry.
In the past, Turkey had also sent helicopters and amphibian aircrafts to Georgia, Russia, Syria, Israel, Macedonia, Albania, Greece and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) for assistance.
